Chef’s Notes

  • Dietary & Cooking Adjustments: If salmon isn’t your pick, feel free to use other proteins like chicken, beef, or tofu. And don’t shy away from customizing your veggies either! Broccoli, cabbage, and spinach make delightful alternatives.
  • Storage: Ramen broth can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months. Remember to leave space in your container for the broth to expand upon freezing.
  • Noodle Knowledge: Whether it’s fresh, wheat, or instant ramen, all noodle types are champions in their own right. But for the best experience, fresh or homemade ramen truly stands out.
  • Reheating Tip: Warm up your broth in a stockpot and immerse the fresh veggies to rejuvenate their crunch. Add mushrooms and let them heat for a couple of minutes.
